Your building might be a hospital, rehab facility, retail mall, hotel, office building, school or airport terminal. The façade might be vinyl siding, aluminum, brick, stucco, precast, stone or composite panels. Whatever it is, as a building owner or manager we want to maintain its curb appeal as well as the longevity of all the surfaces.
Any surface exposed to the outside environment will inevitably attract mildew, mold, dirt, runoff, bugs and other contaminants. Depending on the type of surface these contaminants can begin to eat away and corrode the material they are living on. Additionally, over time they can turn what was once a beautiful structure into an eyesore.
Fortunately, maintaining the exterior does not have to be a big deal, a hassle or too expensive. Typically, an expert power washing or soft washing once every couple years is enough to keep your commercial properties and buildings looking great.
Its important to be certain that you hire a contractor who is experienced in the maintenance of your type of properties. If you have taller buildings, they may need to use a boom lift, and if the façade is a delicate material such as stucco or stone...make sure your contractor is familiar with the appropriate chemicals needed for this type of work.
